Sent Into The Storm

Bad storms are something none of us really like. However it’s especially hard to think that Jesus would send us into one! That is what we will see today. So why would the Lord SEND us into storms rather than get us OUT of them? He does eventually get us out of every storm we encounter, but He sends us IN to storms to change us. Storms drive us to the Lord, drive us to His Word, drive us to prayer, teach us to trust, and by their end prove His faithfulness. So while they aren’t fun, they are God’s training ground for the Christian.
