God Sends a Deliverer

The children of Israel have now been in Egypt for almost 400 years, but their time there is finally drawing to a close. Although God had promised them the land of Canaan, He temporarily sent them to Egypt to preserve their lives from famine and to form them as a nation. Now, they're ready for the promises of God, but they've become enslaved to the Egyptians. But God will not forget His promises. He had prepared a deliverer for them.
