The Antichrist Revealed

Our last study ended in the middle of chapter 11 and finished by looking at Antiochus Epiphanies, which is a picture and type of the Antichrist in Scripture.  Now in this study we will see the passage shift from this “type” of the Antichrist, “to” prophecies concerning the “actual” Antichrist.  We have quite a bit of information in the Bible about the Antichrist, some of which we will see in this study.  However the biggest thing to note concerning him is that while he attempts to “replace” the true Christ he is the exact opposite.  However we will see him trying to constantly “imitate” the true Christ even as Satan does in order to try to replace him and deceive the world.  The question for many is, why would we see him do the same thing as Satan?  Because he will be led by the “spirit” of Satan.
