Serving the Lord is not always easy. And when we step out in His Name we are reminded very quickly that this is a battle and the battle is real. And while we face physical opposition the

true war is in the heavenlies. That is the battle is “spiritual.” In almost every place Paul went there was either a riot or some type of disturbance that either got him throne out of town,

beaten, or in jail. And while I am not saying it will always be this way, it often is depending on

where we go and we need to be mentally prepared. Trouble from time to time among

unbelievers is a good barometer of where we are. And God wants us to be so committed to

Him that once we make the decision to follow we never look back.
